Character Name; Daphne Allen.
Canon; Supernatural. [Character Wiki] [Canon Wiki]
Canon Point; 7x17: The Born Again Identity.
Age; No canon age is given, but she looks about 35.

House; Sigyn.
Power; Healing.

Personality; The first time we meet Daphne, she is tied to a chair in her own home because a pack of demons wanted her faith healing husband, Emmanuel. Before this point, she had little idea demons existed -- or really, anything of the supernatural. When she is untied and she listens to what the "truth" is, she takes it in stride -- which is, perhaps, her biggest strength. Daphne is not easily rattled or spooked -- in fact, she seems to have the ability to accept the great and impossible for what it is, which is part of God's greater work. A devout woman with a large heart, Daphne Allen is an example of humanity in an otherwise dark and dreadful world. Instead of looking on the poor side of things, Daphne chooses instead to place her bets in faith rather than pessimism.

Daphne is, at heart, a wonderfully kind individual. She meets her husband, Emmanuel, when he is unconscious in the woods, naked. Most individuals when they find someone who has no clothes on and has no idea who they are might just call the police and let them handle it, but not Daphne. She instead takes the person into her home, to rehabilitate him, to care for him -- and, ultimately, she fell in love with him. She doesn't really seem to mind that he has no idea who he is or where he comes from, nor does she seem to care that he has a weird ability to cure any disease with the touch of his hands. She instead cares about who he is, rather than the what and when -- having an ability to judge someone past their surface and truly judge a person's character. While this may seem incredibly naive and borderline stupid (after all, Emmanuel might have been a crazy serial killer), Daphne seems to be happy with her decision. She has a husband that loves her and she loves him -- that's more than enough for her.

Not much is known about her true back story, but what we do know can be drawn through a series of reasonable conclusions. She found Emmanuel (or as he's better known, Castiel) on her daily run through the woods -- so we can draw the assumption that she's disciplined and athletic, if this is a ritual she keeps to religiously. She allowed a stranger to come into her home without any prompting, believing it was God's wish -- so she's devoutly religious, a good Samaritan with a heart of gold, albeit somewhat naive and a little too trusting. When Dean Winchester informs Daphne that a demon was the one that attacked her and her husband, she is shocked, but not surprised -- surely if God sent her Emmanuel, demons could be real -- an ability to suspend her disbelief to focus on the reality in front of her. Above all else, though, Daphne Allen is loving -- entirely supportive of her husband's faith healing line of work and gentle in dealing with people, as a good Christian should be.

[The individual that turned on her bracelet looks remarkably calm, for being dropped in a new world. It isn't an experienced calm -- it's more of a detached practicality, though her lips are pressed into a thin line and her eyes are wide, she isn't panicked. Like someone who has been through a lot and just isn't all that surprised anymore.

Still, when she speaks, her voice is even and quiet -- almost shy, but with a firmness that insists that she requires an answer.]

I need to find a man named Emmanuel.

[There. That should be enough, right? If he was here -- and surely he was, they were never apart for very long -- then he would come get her.]

If anyone could ... point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. And if you've seen someone named Emmanuel, then could you tell him his wife Daphne is outside the House of Sigyn, waiting for him.

[She offers a tiny smile -- it isn't very happy, but it's an attempt, anyway.]

Thank you.
